8/10 Good

"Lovely place to stay, nice comfy bed.very cozy, breakfasts were nice.i was able to park off road.well worth a visit"

Brackenborough Hotel, BW Signature Collection

10/10 Excellent

"An unforgettable stay and a stunning venue We stayed in the Heron Suite and it was absolutely beautiful. The four-poster bed was the perfect touch, and the whole room felt luxurious and welcoming. The wedding venue itself is amazing, and I can easily see why it's such a sought-after spot for a special day. The bar and restaurant were both excellent. The food was superb, and the atmosphere made it a pleasure to spend an evening there. We hadn't thought to pre-book a table, but the restaurant team happily accommodated us without any fuss. Parking was plentiful and well organised, which made arriving and leaving completely stress-free. The real star of the show, though, was Ash and his team. From the moment we checked in until the moment we left, they couldn't have been more helpful or accommodating. The reception staff were warm and attentive, and nothing was ever too much trouble. The whole experience went above and beyond. We can't recommend this place highly enough, whether you're staying for a getaway or planning your wedding. We'll definitely be back"

North Shore Hotel & Golf Club

10/10 Excellent

"All the staff were friendly in the bar/reception and Pro shop. The golf course is a good test of golf, but has suffered due to the dry weather. The hotel is in a quiet place, but within walking distance of the town. The room I had was clean, and medium size."

The Windmill

10/10 Excellent

"I stay at the Windmill regularly, the overall cleanliness is second to none, decor could do with freshening up a bit, but on the whole always a nice stay. The new manager and staff are very welcoming and extremely helpful. As an EV driver and 2 other EV's in the carpark, a charge point should be in place"
