"Lovely hotel! Room great! Bed super comfortable and little complimentary treats eg wine, water, biscuits and crisps add to the welcome.
Pool and surroundings offer comfy loungers and pool bar. Pool is cold but it is October!
Hotel is 2km from Old Town but a lovely walk along the prom.
Beaches are very close, but we like the bay on the edge of town so a good walk."
"Beautiful place, it sucks that they have their highway blocked off really bad. This makes it hard to hop on it and be on your way to the airport or to another town."
"The food at the breakfast buffet was excellent. Great location on the beach and a short walk along the promenade to all the wonderful shops and restaurants. And the sky bar was great when the sun was going down. Highly recommend it."
"What I liked is the reception staff were so helpful before we arrived I rang expedia to upgrade my room to a studio and add my grandaughter to expedia wanted to charge me an extra 800 pound , I refused and tried to contact the hotel but Expedia blocked any interaction with the hotel direct was so frustrating and stressful so we decided we would take the grandaughter with no room organized and sort it at reception the hard rock hotel were amazing ,they apologized, and said there hands were tied as we booked it with expedia , the hotel upgraded us to a studio and added the grandaughter for 120 euro we were so relieved and thankfully ,dusgracfull from Expedia trying to charge us 800 we are really good customers with expedia and spend a lot of money with them I just hope this was a one off from ,but hard rock amazing"
"This hotel is a hidden gem and was very reasonably priced. We were pleasantly surprised after reading some of the comments from previous guests.
Ignore the bad reviews, our stay was great from start to finish. We arrived at around 1:30pm, well before the check in of 4pm, but the lady on reception was very helpful and said that our room would be ready in 20-30 minutes. She gave us a voucher for a free welcome drink whilst we waited for our room. The outside seating and pool areas were lovely and kept clean & tidy.
Our room was on the third floor, with a balcony overlooking the front of the hotel (where there are some lovely restaurants to grab a drink or a bite to eat). The room was clean, bright and spacious. The kitchenette had a sink, fridge, microwave, toaster and electric hob. We only used the fridge, to store drinks and snacks, but it was very handy as there is a mini supermarket yards from the hotel.
The room had full length blackout curtains, so we slept very well and we were not disturbed by any noises from outside.
The hotel is in a great location a couple of minutes walk from the beach and the harbour, and approximately 5-10 minutes from the old town (depending on how quickly you walk).
All of the staff were always friendly and helpful, we will definitely stay there again."
"The Hotel Lima is located in a vibrant part of Marbella. The location is perfect to walk to many, many restaurants, bars and the ocean. The staff was outstanding. They treated us like friends and helped answer all of our questions. The room was cleaned every day including clean towels. The breakfast buffet was good but not worth the price. There were many other restaurants minutes away. Parking is challenging at this location. However, the hotel has several assigned parking spots at an underground parking structure. That location’s was safe and clean. If you’re looking for a quality, convenient hotel in Marbella, Hotel Lima is an excellent choice!"
