"Giannis was excellent - could not have been more helpful. The room itself was beautiful, partner found the bed a little too firm but I thought it was perfect. Free minibar was a nice perk. I wish the pool hours were longer but I understand from a liability perspective. The vending machine in the lobby was an excellent touch. Room was kept lovely and clean! "We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Rene. We arrived much later than planned but were welcomed so graciously and even made some food. The rooms, with fantastic air conditioning, and grounds were spotless because they were cleaned every day. ALL staff were friendly and approachable. Sunbeds, swimming and restaurant area were all well maintained. Beach and town centre all within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again."

"Staff was very friendly and view from our small but clean, comfortable room was amazing! The downside is that you have to haul your luggage up an old stone walkway and staircase to check in at The Water hotel. Unfortunately, our bags were 50 lbs (23kg) each. Luckily, a staffer offered to take them the rest of the way to our room at The Rock, which is more old stone stairs up to an old stone walkway away. There are no elevators. "We couldn’t speak highly enough about Gea Villas! John was absolutely amazing and very easy to reach, he helped set up an airport transfer for when we got to the island, gave us recommendations on places to eat and see on the island, and was easy to reach had we needed anything at all. Our plane didn’t land on the island until 11 pm and we had no issues with finding our room on arrival or checking in so late. "The rooms were clean and comfortable, the shower was great. Breakfast was good, with a few different options. The pool is clean and a good size with lots of sub beds around it. The staff were all very friendly and happy to help. Brilliant views of the mountains and the sea to the other side."

"Great hotel in a lovely location, amazing views, with really friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were clean and a good size, and was lovely to have the large balcony. It’s also not a really big hotel (compared to some others) so felt nice not having lots of guests around (even though the hotel was full). "The location was perfect for visiting central Skiathos well being far enough away from the bustle. Staff were outstanding. Breakfast was excellent. Only negative was that the half shower door would not seal or stay in place. Combined with a hanging hand shower that could not be adjusted it resulted in a significant amount of water to clean up off the bathroom floor each time one of us showered."

Bad mit WC ist sehr klein und hat keine Ablageflächen außer dem kleinen Waschbecken. Kühlschrank ohne Eisfach. Keine Kaffeemaschine...

"Quite difficult to find, you have to check in at the water which isn't made obvious. Lots of steps to the penthouse so beware! Room was nice. As guests frequently come and go, it's obviously difficult for the cleaners to get everything done in terms of servicing every room. The major issue for us was the music scene in some venues. Nothing against this, but it starts at one end of the old town then seems to go from one to another venue until itends up right below the trees from around...
