"They catered to the Chinese people. The lodge was ok. The rooms were ok. Not well maintained. Turned electric off most of the time. Location was fabulous. I have been to Kenya many times and this is the nicest location I've encountered. It is on the Mara river. Many hippos monkeys baboons and crocks. It is a one hour drive to Masai Mara but the conservative was nice for safari. The safari vehicles are not very well maintained and we broke down or had a flat tire every day. "We had an amazing 3 night stay at the Mara Major Camp, with 2 full day game drives and one morning game drive. Both Anthony and Sam (our guides) were incredibly knowledgable and committed to providing us the best safari experience. They went out of their way to focus on animals we wanted to see and put in every effort to find the rarest animals to spot. The food at Camp was delicious and all of the staff were absolutely lovely. The tent was very comfortable, with good amenities and products. We will definitely be recommending the Mara Major Camp to our friends/family!"
