Recent stay
I enjoyed my one night stay @ Hampton. The room was very clean and the breakfast was aslo good no complaints. The staff was very friendly everyone spoke in passing. I will recommend staying here.

The Hampton was conveniently located to everything needed during my stay: stores, churches, entertainment, it was all close at hand. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely stay there again.

Ok place for overnight stay
This hotel was in a good location and was easy to access. Desk staff was friendly, had good hot water and pressure in the shower, and was clean. My husband said they had a great breakfast! Two complaints I have is that you could hear literally EVERYTHING! You could hear the people in room next door, out in halls, in parking lot (and we were up on 2nd floor) so apparently the walls are paper thin. Also they don’t have decaf coffee in the lobby for breakfast. I have never seen a hotel not have decaf coffee with the regular coffee. But the staff told me that they don’t make decaf. I would stay here again because the only two choices in the town are this hotel and the casino.

The Clerk at the desk had a very bad attitude tours my son and his wife.The remarks that was made Youll never stayed in a hotel before. When I called here to ask about the the problem if she had an attitude she made remarks like where you standing next to him to hear if I had an attitude then she slammed the phone down in my face. Date and time this infraction took place: 01-06-2024 @ around 5:00 P.M. If she hates her job that much maybe she needs to find her another job!

When we called about the air conditioning; It wouldn’t come on; Front desk replied; We have No Maintenance; Will have to change rooms. I needed a Handicap room. Wheelchair)Got 3rd Floor; with. Bathtub; Called it a handicap ????? Only other Handicap room ; had a king bed, Needed Two Queen beds. It Was a great Location 👍

This property has definitely gone downhill since my last stay. Front desk lady was on a personal call using speaker when I arrived and made me wait while whoever she was talking to finished her curse filled rant. Apparently she thought this was funny. My room was clean but there was an overwhelming smell of bleach to the point of irritated eyes and throat. I mentioned to front desk but they said they knew already. I would definitely think twice before staying here again.

Great First Trip to Papragon!
The entire trip was absolutely fantastic. It was a road trip and the best part was exploring several different routes to our destination! The check-in and check-out was aweseom. During our check-in the representative shared with us some the great feastures of the hotel. The room was very spacious, clean and felt just like home. The hotel is located acroos the street from the Papragon casino. This was our first time staying at the Hampton Inn & Suites, but it'll definitely not be our last . The whole atmosphere of this trip was blessed and fun!!! I highly recommend the Hampton Inn & Suites whenever you're in Marksville, LA!

The lobby was very clean and the staff were friendly. The room had a musty/moldy smell that they tried to cover with a sweet smelling cleaner. The bathroom was outdated, cracked tiles and the shower once had a glass door that had been removed and a shower curtain put in its place. The room and bed were clean and comfortable. There is a fast food restaurant that shares a parking lot with the hotel, there is obviously an after hours hang out for teens/young adults who rev their cars and play their music so loud that we could hear it in our room on the 2nd floor. The final charge to my credit card was over $50 more than the total that I was given in my confirmation- so be prepared for that.

Hampton Inn Canceled our Reservation
Our stay never happened. Two hours before we were to arrive the hotel called and said they had to move us to another hotel an hour away. That after we traveled 1 1/2 hours to get to Marksville. The reason for canceling our room was plumbing issues. I don’t believe!! I would like a refund, because we ended up driving back home!! They ruined an otherwise pleasant trip. Please refund my money!!
