"The location is great for visiting Acadia National Park, but overall our stay was average. The biggest issue was maintenance. Both the bathroom sink and bathtub were clogged and drained very slowly throughout our stay. Bedroom clean doesn't happen daily even we hang the please clean my room sign. Room also lacked some basic amenities that would have made it much more comfortable, such as a microwave, electric kettle, and a small desk. "The price and location worked perfectly for us. It was wonderful to come back to some peace and quiet at the end of the day after being around So. Many. People. All day long. We had a private balcony overlooking a large lot where the kids played. It felt secluded even though it’s on a main road, walking distance to a bakery and coffee shop. The airport across the street was charming and we enjoyed watching the planes take off and land. Thank you to these great hosts!"

Microwave and small fridge with a freezer kept our freezer packs frozen. We would not hesitate to book again ! A very easy walk to the town center of Bar Harbor and the Island Express Buses to get around the island for FREE. The buses take you into and all over Acadia National Park. Lines can get long.."

"We love the staff at the property!!! Michelle at the front desk made us feel like part of the family. She made sure our every needs were fulfilled and always went out of her way to help us. Dannette is the encyclopedia of the area. She shared her knowledge of the surrounding harbors and we loved all the places off the beaten path she recommended. We normally wouldn’t stay at a motel, but we had a hard time to say goodbye at Anchorage Motel!"
