"It was a pleasure to stay the night at the Town House, really lovely people and a bonus to chat over breakfast with another guest. A cosy, homely feel and definitely somewhere we'll book again"

"We really liked everything about the Ollerod. Two thirds of our breakfasts were provided by Julie, who was so nice. We enjoyed chatting with her about the local area. The food was good and set us up for our busy days. We met Kim in housekeeping one day when we stopped by midafternoon. Our room was always spotless and looked as if we had only just arrived. The staff at the front desk were helpful and accommodating. One gentleman even arranged to have housekeeping launder a few shirts for...

"Lovely hotel in an ideal spot for walks along the Dorset coast"

"Beautiful location with stunning views. The room was contemporary and well equipped. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The food in the restaurant was excellent, as was the many choices of beers and wine. Ample parking with easy access. My only negative with the room is that the shower cubicle and bathroom could do with some maintenance by way of grouting and sealing, as there was quite a bit of mould in the shower. If you are a light sleeper, you may be woken up by the guests below using...

"The room was clean, shower over the bath, but could be a problem to older guests encluding my wife. Placed my towel on the edge of the bath but it was not replaced, but we were told it had to be in the bath. At breakfast we were served with an overcooked fried egg on our first morning, the next morning we had a very greasy and hard fried egg with black bits on and the mushrooms were cold."

"Great hotel, excellent location. The bedroom was large enough to accommodate the 3 of us and the bathroom was huge too. Bedroom was clean with coffee, tea, water and biscuits as a nice touch. Staff were friendly and very helpful on more than one occasion. Breakfast was amazing, huge choice and delicious. Location was excellent, right on the high street and 30 seconds to the beach. Parking was also available on site and EV chargers. My only issue was the the pool and sauna were closed...

"Beautiful seaside inn, lovely room with wonderful view. Comfortable bed, large bathroom, nice amenities. Excellent breakfast!!"

"The room was clean and fresh comfortable bed good tv nice shower. The cooked breakfast to order excellent great start to the day. Location is calm and peaceful but close to Weymouth, Dorchester, Bridport and Lyme Regis."

"Friendly manager and staff, comfortable room and bed and a great breakfast to top it off. Thank you"

"Great weekend stay, I would book again."

"Rooms needed upgrading. Smelt of damp and no decent ventilation in shower room which didn’t help. Shower clean but old.Breakfast only served between 8-9 even at weekend. Food good. But they did try to charge for room again when I’d paid in full when booked. They did refund it."

"Our family had a wonderful time at West Bay staying at 2 Driftwood. The accommodation was clean, warm and situated in the heart of the town. It was only a few minutes walk from the beach, restaurants and the jetty. It is such a pretty place, the view along the beach is stunning and everyone we met was friendly and welcoming. I recommend staying here."

"Convenient location and great accommodation"

"This is an olde worlde farm house displaying much of the history of the family who have lived here for 6 generations. We were looked after very well by Sam who cooked a great tradition British Breakfast. The room was clean and welcoming. To park the car on site you negotiate amongst the geese , ducks and chickens who provide the eggs for breakfast. We loved the place and will stay there on our next visit to the area."

"Absolutely lovely stay at the Barn. Such a great location: a friendly host, comfortable beds, super clean with large living areas. We will certainly be back. Great few days fossil hunting."

"Clean, great location and as advertised. Comfy beds, nice furniture and good shower. One free car parking space at a car park 5 min walk away, the car park is otherwise very expensive. There was a fan thank goodness"
