Brilliant hotel and location. Lovely clean room and very friendly / helpful staff
Lovely hotel with added benefit of a spa. Not too big a hotel so it feels cosy and comfy. Rooms were lovely clean and the staff friendly and attentive. Perfect stay.
Big rooms, nicely converted building with a bit of character. Unfortunately the one lift is slow and always means a few minutes waiting, doesn’t seem to follow a logical setting. Spa is nice, but is simply a pool, sauna and relax area- small but enough for a relaxing hour or so- we went in on a Monday morning and it was at capacity most of the time.
Incredible hotel, rooms, staff and welcome. What a stay- my first time here and have already rebooked to return in December. Stunning rooms, super-clean and the very best amenities in the world from ESPA. Bliss.
Had a gorgeous overnight stay here this Feb. All the members of staff were warm and helpful, everywhere is very tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean, and my room was lovely. Huge, very comfortable bed, great water pressure in the rain shower, and the rooftop pool at night was such a nice, unique feature. I’d 100% recommend it, and would definitely stay here again when I’m next in town.
The staff were friendly and polite we arrived early and was check in with no fuss and was informed when the room would be available. We tuck advantage of the infinity pool in the meantime
I had such a lovely relaxing stay at the King Street Townhouse staying in a Luxe Junior Suite and spent a wonderful couple of hours in the Spa. A highlight for me was a 7am dip in the rooftop infinity pool, there was no one else there and I got to enjoy watching the city coming to life. I’ll definitely be booking another stay in the future
Staying one night for business. The interior of the hotel is very classy and well decorated. The room smells lovely when you walked in with ESPA products in the toilet, lovely touch with the radio turned on, extremely comfy beds and pillows even though I usually bring my own just in case. The infinity pool is at level 7 is a nice perk of the hotel, I watched sunset of Manchester while chilling in the hot pool. Only downside is there I could hear people upstairs walking around and dragging chair across the floor but I went back to sleep no bother. Very chill vibe overall, I feel very well rested.

Liked: Staff & service
The staff and service were second to none; extremely helpful, attentive and polite. The rooms themselves look tired in parts and don’t feel as clean as they could be. The bar and dining room are great; the food was lovely and the drinks are as similarly priced to most bars in the local area. The infinity pool isn’t quite the attraction piece at the moment, with most of the town hall under scaffolding.
Lovely hotel, shame about our breakfast experience
We stayed over night after a meal in Manchester. The room was beautiful with a super comfortable bed. The room temperature was spot on with silent air con. The shower is amazing!
The toiletries are beautiful. A bit disappointing that we had to pay for water. The reception stall are all very friendly and helpful.
The one disappointment was breakfast. Our order was forgotten about and when it did arrive it was wrong and cold. We were give the veggie breakfast instead of the traditional but where told that bacon and sausage s were following immediately. However, they didn’t arrive. We asked one of the serving staff if we could talk to the manager. It turned out she was the one who had messed up the breakfast. In all it took 1 hour for our breakfast to arrive.
I must give a special mention to Gina who was extremely helpful, concerned and went out of her way to respond to our concerns. She was lovely and made us feel listened to and valued. I might have her name wrong but I am sure that the hotel could find out her correct name.
Was expecting a more from this hotel, didn’t feel very welcomed, was originally told on the phone the spa could be used at any time with but found out that we had to book a slot which was only 1 hour so felt rushed to use it also as it was an extra £40 to the room it didn’t feel worth it. Also felt rushed with the 11am check out time which is my fault for not checking before booking. Also there’s only 1 tiny elevator which was in constant use with hotel guest but also staff and didn’t feel convenient for nipping In and out. Room was nice but felt dusty and woke up in the morning with a very blocked nose from dust particles. Shower was great.
