"Nice place. Didnt like not being able to flush toilet paper. This isnt Vietnam or Thailand. Restaurant was okay. Don't expect good service. Walked out the second time I tried to get a table because the host was RUDE. "Table for 1 please?" "WAIT!" Then walked away and never came back. Breakfast was a good spread. Lots of juice and choices. Front desk was very nice, let me check out late for a small fee. If i ever come back there for some reason I would consider staying there. The town isnt worth visiting though. Half of the buildings are vacant, the restaurants are sub par and the ocean was dirty. Lots of homeless gypsies digging through garbage if thats your thing. Just a place where hard working Romanian families visit. That was nice to see. I know times are tough. If you're American...maybe look at Varna..i dunno. A dealt with a lot of rude people. I am a good traveler. Not deserved."

"Huge room with balcony and the ocean view. Provided us many towels and pillows. But the safe was broken and the grab bar in the bath tub was loose and dangerous but the hotel fixed them immediately. Shower door only covers 30% of the bath tub. So. We had to take a shower in that 30% space in the tub which was very inconvenient and dangerous. House keeper left the balcony door open, and our room was infested by bugs. Perfect pool with huge umbrella but only 1 towel is given per person and the entire area was infested by bugs. Breakfast was good but not over the board as we’ve experienced in other hotels. We had a dinner at the restaurant in the hotel. The menu listed scallop dish but described as clam in wine sauce. When I asked the server, he just said Yes with a big smile but I ordered because I liked both scallop and clam. However he brought a big bowl of mussels which I am not particularly fond of. When I told the server that I ordered scallop:clam dish, he said we don’t have clam in this area and left. So I was stack with the gigantic mussels which was tasty but not what I wanted. So I reported to the manager who dismissed our wine charges for a compensation."

"We were very happy with our choice. The property was very well kept, the staff extremely polite, professional, and approachable. The breakfast was beautiful each day, thank you! Location was great! 15-20 minutes ride with very affordable Bolt services. Nicest beach set up in comparison to other properties! Gorgeous sunrise view from our room!! One small suggestion… a couple of small lamps in the seating area of the room. There was only the ceiling light. Nice simple light lamps for quiet evening reading would be perfect. Thank you team at Hawaii Hotel!!!"

"From the moment we arrived, we knew we had made the right choice. The hotel has a great atmosphere and a welcoming vibe that immediately puts you at ease. Our room was incredibly spacious and meticulously clean. We were delighted to find that it offered a beautiful view of the lake, providing a serene backdrop for our morning coffee. The quiet and tranquil environment was exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway. A highlight of the room was definitely the bathroom, complete with a lovely jacuzzi tub – perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The breakfast was a fantastic buffet with a wide variety of excellent options to choose from, catering to all tastes. The hotel's pool and spa facilities were also top-notch; clean, well-maintained, and a great place to relax. We appreciated the convenience of the free parking. Overall, a wonderful experience of peace and quiet. We can't wait to return! "

"I traveled with my husband and 2 year old. I am romanian so for me it was going back home. The hotel was lovely. All staff was very polite, friendly and eager to help out with any issues. We found the pool area very nice and cozy for youngsters. There is a playground area adjacent to a shallow pool. There is a pool for adults too which we enjoyed very much. The bar prices for drinks are pretty steep. But then overall, traveling back to a childhood memory was very steep. The entire experience in Mamaia was overpriced. What i didnt like was that the hotel advertises a private beach, however we were expected to pay to stay near the water. Being just 2 adults and a child, experiencing the water moments together was a challenge, as you don't want to leave your belongings unattended. If you travel with kids, bring rubber/water shoes. The beach is "saulty" with shells and other unsanitary things. The water is beautiful, shallow, some algae but not bothering. We could hear music and a lot of street sound from our balcony, but we enjoyed it very much. Couple extra nice features, the Gondola starts/ends within a 5 minute walk. And same with Aqua Magic. A walk away and its great for family fun"
