"Nice resort with decent rooms. Staff is very friendly. Food isn’t good and there isn’t much to do in the resort. Too far from the town. One suggestion, they should run a shuttle or something to the city given just a round trip to city will cost you over a 100 usd. "
"The resort is clean. No bugs seen. The pool/spa/gym/outdoor area are all lovely. The staff are amazingly friendly; 'most' were extremely helpful. The maintenance person, sent to the 1st room A/C failure was rather unpleasant to me! The rooms, however, are sub-standard. The bed was so hard it gave me backache. I had to sleep with pillows under my back to get any comfort. The lighting it awful! I had to change rooms as, in my 1st room, the A/C did not work. It was hotter in the room than outside! The 2nd room was larger but each was shabby/dark/junk furniture/smelled of old/mold on the ceilings. Very uninviting rooms. The WiFi does not work in rooms. The TV has few channels; only BBC from overseas. Many times, the TV has NO SIGNAL! The breakfast is mediocre at best. I was 1st guest to breakfast at 7am one day. The milk was not cold/juices started with containers almost empty. No fresh coffee! The staff make the place pleasant. I understand it was near the airport but I would stay elsewhere if returning to Fiji. "
"The resort is not 5 star in my opinion.
Plain drinking water was not freely available throughout the resort (we had to ask for bottled water). Our room was clean but fixtures were tired, broken or worn out some powerpoints were loose on the wall
* one bedside lamp switch worked but was taped up with electrocal tape
* there was no globe in the light above the phone desk
* there was no instructions for the phone and it only appeared to work on speaker
* there was no bottle opener in the room
* the wooden bed base creaked on the tile floor
* the room fixtures looked tired, faded (paint on sheer curtains and curtains coming unhhooked)
* hanging space for wet swimwear etc was non existent.
Staff were mostly friendly attentive but some could do better.
Restaurant food was ok, however, prices were expensive for what was offered. Bar staff only served from behind the bar. Wet weather seating in the bar area was scarce. Recorded music in the restaurant/bar was loud & annoying. Cabanas were hot & not inviting.
Gardens & buildings were not very well maintained and drainage improved. (Slippery tiles)"
"Super convenient hotel for the airport, also for local buses to Nadi and Lautoka.
Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful
Room was quiet and comfortable
There are 2 pools. One is tiny and strangely almost in the dining area. The other is an excellent size for a hotel pool. There is a separate area for small kids too "
"95% spotless, but I let management know about a couple of technical defects like unsecure towel rail, loose toilet roll holder etc. Staff were all very friendly and helpful."
"We’ve been to heaps of resorts in Fiji, but nothing beats The Crowne plaza! Best service, team there is so friendly, helpful and all super friendly. Didn’t get any bad vibe from any of them. Food was on point, a bit pricey but I guess that’s what comes with a 5 star resort like this. Definitely be back and staying even longer next time 😆
Staff that really stood out to me was Eugene, Jesse & Semisi! Lads were the best!"
"Really the only feedback i have is that there should be a nightly activity. But seriously if thats all that i can offer thats not a big deal. Solo traveller, made me feel special and welcomed when wanted and left me alone when i wanted. Perfectly relaxing. Safety is their top priority and appreciate all the extra efforts in ensuring that for all guests. Massage was amazing and can day enough about the bar staff. Vinaka for a relaxing few days!"
