"We booked our stay at the Hythe Imperial hotel to celebrate our Golden Wedding, and we weren’t disappointed! Everything about our stay was perfect, from the kindness and courtesy of staff, to the surprise congratulations left in our room to see upon our return! We will definitely be returning. "Generally our experience was good. Getting there was fairly easy. Check in went smooth, the view from room over the lake was beautifull.we slept well.Food was good, we had breakfast only.Waiting time for an English breakfast seemed bit long and portion size could be bit bigger.Staff was kind and friendly.We stayed there for 1 night only. My only complain is first impression when we entered our room there were big stains on a carpet, which made us uncomfortable and want to leave immediately.On the drain in shower there was still bit of hairs.Carpets in a hallway are worn off as well. Taken away cleanliness issue it is a good value for the money and a lovely set up over the lake."

"Brilliant overnight stay. Very close to the road, so a little noisy as we had to have the windows open. Shower had a very weak flow. Breakfast wad lovely, hot and fresh. Staff, very polite and helpful. We felt having to pay to park at the hotel we were staying in was unnecessary, it should be included in the stay. Few negatives, but would definitely stay again"
