"A very tired and run down property. I won’t be staying there again."

"The staff was quite welcoming and helpful upon checkin. In the absence of a luggage trolley a very nice man assisted me and refused a tip. The front desk was less welcoming and cheerful the next morning upon checkout. Overall it was a good place to stay the night before my flight to the U.S. The room was large, comfortable and well appointed. The hotel has nice amenities like a pool. Definitely recommend it."

"we had a great stay and annette and team could not have been any more helpful all the staff were friendly and helpful in every way possible a great hotel to stay at close to gatwick airport"

"Friendly helpful staff. Clean room. Comfy bed. Tasty breakfast. Convenient location"

"The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. The breakfast was nice. My only criticism was the bed felt like a three quarter size bed rather than a double. The hotel is close to the airport so handy to commute. Good price for a night and breakfast. There is a parking charge to stay at the hotel."

"having been here once before i was looking forward to my stay, however i was in a different room inside the main building, while the room was very comfortable and roomy it did seem a bit dusty and damp, Sadly during my two night stay the tv was unavailable due to local Aerial problem, while i understand this wasn't the hotels fault it was very disappointing. Also no fridge was available which i was expecting as my last room had one. The large bath tub was much appreciated . A lovely outlook...

"This is a gem we intend to return too having only booked one night we did not get to use the pool etc. The staff were incredibly friendly, both receptionist and especially at breakfast Yes as people have said you are on a golf course and it feels a bit intrusive overlooking the putting green but thats why there are curtains 🙂 Thank you for such a pleasant stay"

"The staff was the worst I’ve experienced in my month of traveling England. They weren’t friendly or helpful and made me feel like it was a burden staying there. And I stayed 3 nights. And there’s absolutely nothing close by where you can eat. The cook was the only pleasant person. The place has absolutely no warmth to it."

"Oakhurst is recommended for a comfortable, friendly stay in a lovely home setting."
