The Villa Caballero is a winner. The villas themselves are well equipped, clean and comfortable. The staff is top notch - in fact, I had a knee injury and needed ice and I think the staff went out and purchased gel packs as they seemed brand new and unused. Bravo!!! The property is two minute walk from Turtle Beach, two restaurants and a rather new craft brewery. Highly recommend!!!!

Seychelles chalet with a pool

Pro: PASSANG! He answered my messages promptly, greeted me warmly, orientated me, and welcomed me with native juice on a silver tray with a flower (lovely touch). Pro: Cleanliness - immaculate room including the floors Pro: Swimming pool - gradiated levels, warm and clean (only inconvenient that the deck was being painted both days I was there and the paint fumes were strong) Pro: Very comfortable bed and pillows Con: Room was hot and A/C was too weak to cool it sufficiently Con: Parking is difficult in small driveway and cars had to be moved and rearranged

Terrific property, terrific staff, excellent stay!

Villa Caballero was the perfect place for us to stay for our two nights on Mahe Island. The room was very large and airy, with high ceilings, and a very comfortable bed. It was extremely clean also, and the property is very well maintained. Nice (clean) pool, BBQ area looked terrific (we were not there long enough to use it), and very secure (automatic gate and high walls around the property), plus a gate and padlock on the room (although there was never any suggestion or hint of any safety issues in the area). It also was located a few door away from two terrific restaurants, The Green House, and Maison Marengo. Both had live music on the weekend, and the food at Maison Marengo was just excellent, with selections which will please everyone. The refrigerator was stocked with fresh eggs, rolls, juice cartons and water, along with butter and jam; plus, multiple bananas were provided as well! The air conditioning worked very well. The highlight, however, even with all of the above positive comments, was the staff. We were met by Shane, who then proceeded to be one of the best hosts you might ever meet. Outgoing, engaging, interesting and full of excellent recommendations. Went above and beyond to help us locate a couple of local items we were interested in taking back home with us. Should we ever have the opportunity to visit Mahe in the future, Villa Caballero will be where we will be staying.

Séjour agréable, tout est parfait et conforme aux photos. Prestations sur place très appréciables : 1/2 L de lait, eau, cocktails d'accueil à notre arrivée, serviettes pour la piscine. Possibilité de louer une voiture avec les propriétaires ou un taxis, ils sont très arrangeants. Propriétaires exceptionnels : nous avons pu rester jusqu'à 20H30 le jour de notre sortie, et profiter des installations sur place jusqu'au bout. Nous recommandons vivement cet établissement et nous remercions encore Basil et Vivienne.

Absolutely amazing, room was small however very comfortable and had you might need, the small terrace in front is great and the pool most lovely.the beach across the street is beautiful and restaurant marengo is 5 minutes walk as well as takeaway options and supermarket

I only had one day in Mahé so I can’t comment much! I got dropped off from the airport and the host was so lovely, then I hired a car as I left the next day. I only stayed 24 hours but I was able to get a full nights sleep, watch some tv, cook a meal, and spend a good few hours on the beach! The only thing that would make this better would be for their pool to be functioning! The quests who arrive after it’s sorted, are very lucky!!
