"We had wonderful 4 days in the honeymoon cottage at the end of our South Africa trip. The cottages was perfectly equipped in a way we have never experienced before. Rainer, the very helpful and attentive host, thought about everything you might need during your stay. "The first room I was put in had a overwhelming mouldy smell, to the extent that I actually found mould on the furniture - this is highly unacceptable. The bathroom was mouldy, the shower head was super clogged/calcified, and the general condition of the room was just not up to Southern Sun standards. Also the door to the room’s lock was missing/not working. Never again."

"Wonderful staff of this river lodge bordering Kruger National Park. Large spacious room. Great sunrise and day safaris from their own staff. Sunset safari is run by the National Park so needs transport to Kruger Gate if you don’t have your own vehicle. Couple of things could be improved. Firstly, the wi-fi could be faster.
