Quiet, comfortable, friendly and very Thai
A family owned hotel with lots of personality. There are conventional rooms in a 2 story building and stand alone bungalows spread out over the property. They are a little out of town in a very local neighborhood so you will need to have your own transportation. However this means that the hotel is very quiet at night, I liked the place because it's outside of the backpacker ghetto on the river. The rooms are a little dated but spotless and everything works, there is even a small refrigerator in the room, very convenient. The front desk is across the street where they also have a mini store with snacks and various personal supplies along with a washer for guest use. The owner/managers are very friendly and helpful and even offered me the use of a personal motorbike to run to town. Quite a warm experience, highly recommended.
