The room was old and several dresser drawer handles we broken. I paid for the upgrade for free apps and breakfast at their governors room. The food wasn’t available, no plates, no coffee. Very disappointed. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel and I won’t be back.

The hotel itself seemed nice. However, our stay itself was just okay. Fire alarm went off after dark and many evacuated. We had to wait outside with a crowd of people smoking. The water in the bathroom faucet and shower was straight brown one morning— even if you left it running, it stayed brown. There was a conference at the hotel and there were several smelly individuals sleeping on common area couches. One blew an air horn in the lobby while I was checking in. Overall, our stay did not meet the standards of the kind of hotel I prefer to stay in.

This was a great place to stay! The room was clean & spacious. The location is close to everything downtown Madison. The weather wasn’t great & the hotel has a shuttle service that will take you most anywhere you want to go. The bar & bartender Dallas were awesome! Dallas gave us great recommendations on things to d & places to eat (Marigolds😋). There is also a restaurant & Starbucks in the hotel. Highly recommend!

I would first love to commend the staff (especially the front desk) for being warm, hospitable and friendly. They made our hotel stay a whole lot better and merrier. The room we lodged in was super clean and we had extra fresh and clean towels as well as toiletries. The Circ restaurant stood out with their food which was absolutely delicious. We’ll definitely come back again when next we visit Madison. Keep up with the awesome job at the hotel. ~Fafa Tackie-Otoo.

2nd stay here and will definitely stay in the future. The governors club is totally worth the up charge. The private bar and daily appetizers are fantastic. The rooms are fabulous. The heading is amazing. The bar downstairs is fabulous. All the employees are amazing. We used the shuttle the whole time and the driver was amazing. The can driver (I can’t remember his name but he’s from a European country) was so wonderful and gave us great ideas of where to go in Madison.
