"The lighthouse Inn is very convenient to Long Sands, only 10 minute walk to the beach. Has a pool and hot tub on site. The room we had reserved was in the carriage house and was a good size with a full bathroom. The door to the deck was a nice addition with seating. I didn’t realize the room was on the 3rd floor and only accessed by outside stairs which was a challenge with our suitcases as one set was quite narrow. Coming down the stairs from the 3rd floor there is a sharp turn and a big step...

"The room was recently renovated and was immaculate. The beds and pillows were very good, as was the shower pressure. The chairs were uncomfortable. There needs to be handicapped parking available near the rooms. I would not recommend the Pub. The service was excellent, but the food was subpar."

"Greeted by very friendly staff. Very clean room, bed was very comfortable and it was nice to have a couple of chairs on the small but adequate deck to enjoy drinks. Perfect location to walk a short distance to most of what we wanted to do. Easy to walk to many restaurants but still enough away to be quiet. Would recommend and come back again. A/C unit not central air in room was the only downside. Still full of northern old charm."

Wanted to rent specifically for the bathtub, so I could soak… there was no plug to stop water from draining, but I improvised and managed to stop it with an item I had brought with me. Hot water was extremely hot, just like I was hoping for!"
