Due to our flight being delayed we arrived at the hotel later than planned. This was however not a problem as the owner had sent us a message previously telling us how to use the key safe to collect our keys. Our first floor room was very comfortable and the view from the balcony was wonderful. There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room which was a shame but the mini fridge was very handy. The whole hotel was spotless and our room was made up each day. Breakfast was continental and there was plenty of it, you just helped yourself to what you wanted. Antonio, the owner, would serve fresh tea/coffee at your table and happy to answer any questions you may have regarding the area or getting about. The hotel is situated in a very convenient location. Just a 5 minute walk and you reach the various cafes and restaurants and another 5 minutes you can get to the shops or the lovely beach. We used the bus service but if needed there is a taxi rank just outside the hotel. All in all we enjoyed a lovely week in beautiful Madeira.

Good if you are taking flight. Close from airport. Cheap and clean good option if you are tight on budget. We got room at 3rd floor walk up. Not something I prefer with luggage. Parking was bad. No parking available.

Great experience all around

Seu Antônio is very friendly and caring. He made everything possible to accommodate any requests I had. The family works really hard in the restaurant and hotel. Breakfast was simple but very good and fresh. The area is very central in Machico, 5 minutes walk from the beach. Many restaurants and grocery stores around, within 10 min walking. There’s also a great co working space at the Machico Forum (3 minutes from the hotel) in case you’re in Madeira working remote. Wifi was great! Works excellent. The room was very clean. The single room is more outdated, but the double room was great and had a nice balcony facing the ocean. I could fall asleep listening to the waves. Would definitely stay there again, affordable and overall great accommodation.

Einen kostenlosen Parkplatz haben wir jeden Tag gefunden. Hafen und Zentrum mit Restaurants sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. Das Zimmer war toll, besonders der Blick vom Balkon auf den Strand und Hafen. Der Betreiber ist sehr hilfsbereit. Es wurde jeden Tag gereinigt. Das Frühstück ist eher was zum Starten und jeden Tag gleich. Es ist aber okay und der Kaffee ist sehr gut. Wir sind uns einig, dass wir dort wieder buchen würden.

Un séjour parfait !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet hôtel. Tout était propre, avec un nettoyage quotidien et le changement de serviettes chaque jour, ce qui est vraiment appréciable. Le petit déjeuner était délicieux et varié, un vrai plus pour bien commencer la journée. L’emplacement est idéal, proche de tout. Je recommande à 100 % !

Hôtel bien situé, proche de l’aéroport (5min en voiture), du centre ville de Machico et de la plage ( moins de 10min à pied) avec superbe vue mer. Parking disponible en bas de l’immeuble..Très propre. Petit déjeuner complet (pain, croissants, céréales, fruits…). Propriétaire au petit soin avec ses clients. Nous recommandons vivement !
