"We were travelling with an infant and requested a playpen/crib and the playpen was all set up for us with a blanket and some toiletries for the baby (lovely touch). The beds were very comfortable although a little high for me (5"4) but I had excellent sleeps. Pillows could have been a little more full but they sufficed. Overall it was a nice stay and I would recommend this hotel."

"The Rosedale on Robson has a great location when you're staying downtown. The suites are roomy and very convenient but they really do need upgrading as they are the same as when we stayed in them 20 years ago."

"The room is clean and the staff is lovely. Location is also great! The room itself is just a bit dark, making it hard when multiple people are getting ready at the same time. The fan in the washroom also didn't work. "

"Dear Expedia Customer MY booking 73411315532057 I am writing to formally express my concern regarding a recent reservation I made through your platform at Hotel Willo (formerly YWCA Hotel Vancouver). Upon my late arrival in Vancouver, I was informed at the front desk that the room I had reserved included a shared bathroom with other guests. This came as a complete surprise, as there was no clear indication of shared bathroom accommodations in the Expedia listing at the time of booking. Having traveled extensively around the world during my career as an airline pilot for over 12 years, I have stayed in a wide range of hotels, and this was the first time I encountered such an arrangement without prior disclosure. Due to the late hour and lack of alternative options, I had no choice but to upgrade to a small room with a private bathroom at a significantly higher cost In addition, the internet service at the hotel was extremely slow and unreliable. It was difficult to use even for basic purposes, and it was not possible to watch television or stream content, which further impacted the quality of my stay.As a result, my three-night stay totaled close to $1,000, which was far beyond what I had initially expected based on the information provided. I strongly believe that this situation was the result of misleading or incomplete information on the Expedia platform, combined with substandard hotel conditions. Please request the different payment back to me."
