Set back from the main highway but convenient to the city for dining, shopping or other attractions. Great for those who loves the outdoors. The breakfast was absolutely delicious.

Quality accommodation with charm
The perfect accommodation for an extended stay in a beautiful area. Excellent breakfast. Highly recommended.
Amazing location not too far from the Aachen CHIO Horse show. We loved the amenities (pool was excellent) and the breakfast buffet. Rooms are spacious and bed very comfortable. Wish we could have stay longer. We will come back next year.
The restaurant at the hotel was fully booked so we had the option to dine at a small bar at the hotel or drive to the nearest town which we eventually did.
The main photos used to promote the hotel show a updated modern rooms. Our rooms were 80’s style and had not been modernized. The gym equipment is also 80’s and the photos shown online hide this.
Hard pillows with heavy stuffing.
Fantastic breakfast!

Great dinner and breakfast. Friendly staff. Facility needs upgrade. Finishing touch missing.
Really nice surroundings and rooms. You don't stay or eat in the main 'castle' as it's private property but in the surrounding buildings.
The sauna wasn't functional during our stay. Fitness room meets basic needs.
Starting with a warm welcome at the reception, then checked into a well maintained and super clean room with good amenities, a good shower and a super comfortable bed. Relaxed in the beautiful Spa and finished with one of the best breakfasts ever experienced. Highly recommended

Very friendly staff, diner in brasserie was a pleasure.
But diner in the restaurant? Very, very goof. Highly recommended
+ Room was large and looked nice, bathroom likewise, clean and spacious, seperate toilet which is very nice. Bed was a tad soft but comfy, nice linnen.
- Distance to the room was too long and so where the flight of stairs, no aircon, coffeefacilities meagre, tv set rather small and programming extremely basic.
I was only at the hotel for one night and arrived late. However the receptionist was friendly and said they would open the gym for me at 6am (instead of 7am) as I had to leave early. Breakfast was standard hotel fare with something for most tastes. The scrambled eggs were overdone but everything else was good. Coffee was a bit weak
Very nice hotel with castle/ countryhouse behind the castle a beautiful garden with trees hundred years old and a small lake.
The rooms are large and well equiped, a littlw warm. Bathroom okay, with a separate toiletroom, which is nice. We liked the bistrobar in a old water mill which is more relaxed than the formal restaurant. The breakfast is in a nice glass hoise connecyed to the countrhouse/castle. Very good collection of food organic.
We have had a couples massage which was nice, indoor swimming pool and sauna’s are also nice to go to.
We stayed for a night and had a wonderful time.
The check-in was smooth and the reception staff were very friendly. Our room was so nice: the bed was big and comfortable, the room was really quiet, the shower was large, and there were shampoos/ conditioner/ body wash from Rituals.
We had food at the Bistro which wasn't the cheapest (about 25 euros each), but the food was really good. If you want to eat in the restaurant then you need a reservation, but then you don't get to enjoy the patio area next to the pond.
The pool and sauna facilities were good. The pool is small, but it wasn't busy when we went in.
We paid extra for the breakfast and it was really good. They had a very large selection of different foods.
We would definitely recommend!
Fantastic resort to stay in, rooms lovely with very comfy beds and cleaned every day. We stayed for 5 nights the bistro food was lovely we never ate in the restaurant but it did look nice. The spa area was great lovely pool and sauna, gym available but slightly disappointed as it didn’t have a running machine. Robes and towels are available at reception however every time I asked for a robe none were available apparently this was due to the laundry service which the hotel used. Not a problem though as more towel’s were provided. Breakfast was amazing, great choice of hot and cold food available. All in all a fabulous experience. Would definitely recommend.
Must see; must go, must experience
This beautiful castle which was transformed into a hotel, has all the amenities one could dream of; spacious rooms, amazing view to wake up to; the lake, the swans and the vast green.
The staff are super friendly and they are super pet friendly.
As for the gastronomy, the breakfast is a big feast; which takes place at the dinner castle. We also tried the Bistro and the famous (IN DE OUDE WATERMOLEN), which served signature dishes from the region. The experience was unique, would recommend for starters; the deer pastrami and for main courses; the entrecôte beef, grilled and the redfishfillet dish. I don’t recommend the cauliflower starter
Highly recommend and would do it again.
If you are visiting Maastricht, you can stay at this hotel in the quiet oasis if luxury and drive to Maastricht to enjoy an Andre Rieu concert or go to Valkenburg to enjoy wonderful Christmas vibes in this charming town.
Great hotel for couples and families.
I would rate it 5 out of 5
