"We had a most splendid time at Djorff Palace. From the minute we arrived with the hotel’s river boat, we felt transported back in time. To a time where the dull uniformity of big corporate hotels did not exist. The architecture of the hotel is most elegant and the rooms are authentic and warm with their squeaky wooden floor, domed ceilings and the intricate wooden carvings on the balcony door and the windows. "We had an excellent stay at Sharqotel Luxor! The hotel is in the country side, but perfect for exploring the west bank, and is close by to restaurants and shops. Especially the beautiful Habu Tempel, don’t miss it! The room was clean, modern and had a great view! Our host, Mohammed Dahab, was very friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was great as well, and huge! He helped us arrange a taxi back to the hotel. Thank you for the stay!"
