Perfect Family Stay to Explore Luxembourg City

Parking was easy and secure. The 15 Euro per day rate was perfect for leaving the car, while exploring Luxembourg city via the free Bus #9 (only a few minutes walk from the hotel). The front desk attendants were friendly and provided helpful local information on the transportation, events, and dining options. Our room was clean, quiet, and generously sized. We enjoyed the room-provided coffee machine and the refrigerator. Overall, this was the perfect hotel for a weekend family visit.

Large rooms, good location - some drawbacks based

+ Good location and easily reachable by public transport (airport or old town). Large rooms, all the amenities of apartment living. Very quiet residential neighborhood. - No a/c in rooms (they provide a fan); however, as the rooms are large, a fan is not always sufficient, especially in summer. The loft-rooms are inward facing, hence pretty dark.

Great apartments, hassle free self check in & good parking lots (albeit as an additional extra). Parking also came with free car charging which was an added bonus. One downside is the curtains aren’t fully blackout as aren’t quite sized right to cover both sides & the middle. Close enough to walk into the city & can get tram back to university, two good patisseries for breakfast & then a number of evening dining options deliverable by wolt or self collection in the case of cloud pizza down the road 👍 Would stay again 👍

Central Hotel Neudorf Luxembourg

Be careful not to get this one mixed up with the other central hotel in Luxembourg, this one is on Rue Du Kiem in Neudorf (short distance to Kirchberg). Yes, there were a few niggles here and there, but my general feelings about the Central were good. The room was nice and modern, the bed comfortable and the room quiet and a comfortable temperature. We visited in October and all was fine, however the hotel does not have any air conditioning, so in the summer months, things may be different. Located in Neudorf, just across the road from the Mercure and close to bus stops. The hotel does have its own basement car park (chargeable), but the buses are so good (and free in Luxembourg) that you can easily manage without a car. Having the small kitchen area with kettle, fridge and microwave was handy. Getting from the airport is easy with just one change at Cents Waassertuerm. Catch the 29 from stop 3 towards Hesperange, Cité Um Schlass (be careful as there are two 29 stops – one for each direction, off at Cents, Waassertuerm. Go to stop 4 and catch the 7 or 25 and get off at Huesegrënnchen. Hotel is just across the road.

We really enjoyed our stay at the central kirchberg. The hotel was clean and quiet, we made use of the laundry facilities and the games room was a great bonus. Public transit around the area was quick and convenient.

Xmas travels 2024

We stayed here for two nights. It had everything you needed if you were staying for a bit longer and wished to cook etc. We were visiting Luxembourg for a day only therefore this was just a place to stay.

Would definitely stay there again.

Clean, tidy property. Enjoyed our stay there. If you are planning on parking your car there, best to let the property know in advance. It wasn’t a problem for us, but may be a problem if you arrive after hours.
