Fine, but for the horrendous smell

The automated check in is fine and the building / rooms are new and well appointed but it doesn’t count for much when there’s a sewage smell coming from the bathroom. I spent all evening with the windows open just to sleep and as there is nobody on site, there’s no way of moving rooms or getting it seen to.

Great hotel with a glitchy check in system.

The automated 24 hr check in is a nice idea but seems not to work well in practice. We checked in after midnight so it didn’t recognise our booking as it thought we were booking too early for a booking the following day. You’d think a check in system could differentiate, but no. And the guy on the phone was super grumpy at 1am too which is a bit much when it’s their fault. There were people we saw the other day who told us the system didn’t recognise their booking number. So it wasn’t just us with issues. The hotel itself is lovely and great value.

Sehr schönes Hotel

Das Hotel ist neu renoviert. Das denkmalgeschützte Haus ist ein Mix aus sehr modern mit alten Elementen. Ich habe vorab online eingecheckt und konnte dann einfach mit meinem Handy die Zimmertür öffnen. Super unkompliziert und schnell. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Das Zimmer war sauber und das Bett bequem. Allerdings konnte das Zimmer nicht abgedunkelt werden und direkt vom dem Zimmer ist eine Straßenlaterne, die die ganze Nacht geleuchtet hat. Mobile Key und Check-in am Terminal haben nicht funktioniert, telefonisch hat eine Mitarbeiterin aber sehr schnell geholfen. Für Fahrradfahrer wäre ein Fahrradständer direkt beim Hotel sehr wertvoll.
