"Beautiful grounds and location !!! The hotel inside needs updating screams for a makeover , it’s smelly : like damp / mould the carpets are old and dirty but the decor is nice and has the potential to be massively improved , the outside is not reflected inside like they are 2 different properties . Staff all nice and friendly , pool could do with some loungers as there are only 4 to be shared by all families how ? Also the amount of chemicals used in the pool area made our eyes sting and was unpleasant , the pool temperature was perfect . The family room was basic again needs decorating and new carpets , if you have a pool automatically robes should be available in rooms . Breakfast was nice very tasty cooked bfast my husband enjoyed the black pudding said it was the best ! The only thing could be improved is that staff should replenish the bread , pastries etc as quick run out and staff didn’t check"

"Modern clean room with comfy beds,daughter and I had dinner in the restaurant and a bottle of wine we were able to take back to our room. Breakfast was great and being able to walk a short distance right into the airport terminal was unique. Very good value for the money"

Glynhill Hotel

2/10 Terrible

"The whole first floor (non-smoking) smells of Marijuana. It was so strong that I couldn't walk to or from my room without my infant having a coughing spell. Layout is also very weird, we had to take an elevator up to our floor, then walk all the way down the hall, then down a flight of stairs, to get to our room. If stairs are an issue for you, make sure you book an accessible room."

"We celebrated our anniversary at Cameron House and had a fantastic stay. The hotel is beautiful, with luxurious interiors and stunning surroundings. The spa was relaxing and immaculate, while dinner at La Vista offered great food, atmosphere, and views. What truly stood out was the exceptional staff — friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, making our celebration feel extra special. A memorable stay we’d happily repeat. Highly recommended."
