The man that owns the place was born and raised in an animal loving family and his respect and love for the animals show through his interactions and knowledge. You can schedule a behind the scenes tour of the zoo if you call ahead. During this tour I was able to pet a porcupine, feeds goats, feed bananas to a lemur, and feed the tiger pictured. The townhouse was new and very clean. It had everything we needed. Location was very convenient for attractions in Luray as well as Shenandoah National Park.

Spacious, new, clean and ultra comfortable house. My whole family enjoy the stay very mulch. We felt very relax at this place thus giving us very good sleep quality after a day out. Love the convenience of big Walmart and other grocery shopping. Love the convenient fast foods around the house. Highly recommend to stay in this property.

Very basic-bring your own amenities

Very basic amenities. No shampoo or soap. No extra towels or trash bags. If your house accomodates 6 people, the kitchen should have enough to cook for 6 (only small pans, no casserole dishes, etc). Some things were dirty and filter needed replacing in the water system in fridge, and the hand soap in the downstairs bath was filled with water. Other soap containers refilled with different soap, so hard to tell ingredients for allergies. I will say the house is close to a lot of things in Luray and is a quiet area.

Friend getaway.

This is an awesome stay, place is clean, sleeps 8 if there are families with children even has a crib. Location is amazing, close to Luray Caverns, town and several eating establishments. The Walmart a block away was extremely convenient not to mention the ice cream place. Maybe not the place for three couples but for kids would be awesome.

The townhouse was extremely nice and just what we needed for our family of 7. It had a new house smell and plenty of room with some nice complimentary items as well. Having all of the linens needed as well as paper products and soaps was helpful. It was really convenient to Luray Caverns and museums as well as dining options. This place was definitely a 10!!
