"The hotel is located on the mountain and the view of lake Lugano is spectacular. As it turns out, the rest of the experience was less so. We arrived around 10pm and by then, the kitchen was closed. "This resort is spectacular, the grounds are wonderful and well maintained, the rooms are spacious with the great views. Ideally located on Lugano lake and within a 20 minute drive to Menaggio which is a great gateway to Lake Como. We don’t like going to the same location twice…We are already talking about our next trip back to Parco San Marco. If you have kids between the ages of 3-10 don’t miss on this resort. "A hard review to write. I gave 5 stars in most areas. The service and the overall property was excellent but for the price we had some issues. The KEY to the room is a huge pain! You only get one key and if you lose it there is a $1000 Swiss franc fee to replace it and a minimum 3 hour wait. Two doors to go through so it is very inconvenient. While the room we had was very large with a bedroom plus a large kitchen/living space with two patios there was only one TV in the living room! No bedroom...
