It’s a beautiful walk back in time. Everything is as it was back in the early 1900s just amazing how they’ve kept it so nice all these years would love to come again and spend more time. I enjoy playing Scrabble in the library. The breakfast was five stars just perfect!!

We enjoyed our stay celebrating our 30th. It was great seeing all of the couples from different parts of the world and U.S. I cannot stop thinking about the fancy lemon pancake and lavender orange juice. It was a serene and beautiful bed and breakfast.

Our stay was wonderful. The Chris and Jenna were fantastics hosts. Breakfast was delicious and we loved that it was made with locally sourced ingredients. The history in the home was tastefully displayed and maintained the authenticity of the home. The bed in our room was very comfortable, bathroom had lots of towels and necessary items (shampoo, condition, body was, lotion, hair dryer), the hallway kitchenette made it easy to enjoy coffee/tea/snacks at anytime of day. We look forward to returning!

Super quaint, the attention to detail and workmanship is amazing. Everywhere you look is clean and well maintained. The rooms are newly remodeled yet they make it feel like it’s back in time with all the amenities and technology of today. Would highly recommend staying here.

Jenna and Chris give you the 5-star treatment. It starts before you arrive and continues throughout your stay. Our room was amazing and the location just makes it better. The breakfast was gourmet, with a variety that you would not expect. We will definitely stay here again next time we head to Ludington.

Great place to bring your loved one to relax!

As soon as we booked, we got a phone call to confirm our travels and check for dietary restrictions which I do have so I appreciated that. We got offered a complimentary upgrade for our room and it was so beautiful and cozy! The whole property was beautiful and decorated so nice for the holidays. Water and chocolates and coffee in our room along with robes. A fireplace added just a nice cozy touch! The breakfast was amazing and we will definitely be back to bring my in laws!

Quick getaway to Ludington - Cartier Mansion

We did a quick midweek escape to Ludington and loved our stay at the Cartier Mansion. The building is a 1905 gem and the owners, Jenna and Chris do a lovely job of keeping the property in top shape. Nice breakfast and some really nice dining options in Ludington. The town has a number of terrific Victorian homes that make for nice walks in town. When you go, try to catch the lighthouse at Ludington State Park, a short drive north of town. We will definitely return. Nice job Jenna and Chris!

5 stars is not enough for our experience at Cartier Mansion! The keyless entry to both the building and our room made check-in seamless. The room was so beautifully designed and had everything we could need, including a large glass bottle of water and two delicious chocolates. There were robes and mugs that we could take without having to go buy from the gift shop, it would simply be added to our bill. We were so lucky that both mornings of our stay we had the pleasure of being the only guests attending the included breakfast provided by the owners, which meant we got to chat with them extensively. Chris and Jenna were so kind, and went above and beyond. From the custom menus with fun facts about the mansion and its original owners, to the beautiful, delicious, and handcrafted 3-course breakfast we enjoyed, we could not have had a better start to our day. Not to mention, the opportunity to meet the most handsome and professional butler around, Carson! Booking at Cartier Mansion means receiving an incredibly detailed digital guide with recommendations for everything from dining to local secrets, as well as details about anything you could imagine about Cartier Mansion and Ludington as a whole. We enjoyed our time immensely at Cartier Mansion, and would never consider any other lodging when we return to Ludington for our yearly trip. I cannot say enough good things about the level of thought and planning the owners of this beautiful estate put into the guest experience.
