"Very friendly staff. Charming place"

"Hotel is wonderful as we have stayed there in the past but this time when checking in they charged us a parking fee. I will be looking at different hotels in the future."

"Very clean quiet motel. Staff was great. Breakfast was good. Enjoyed my stay. Would definitely stay again"

"No mountain view. Can't add add-ons after hours. Never spoke with a person, all ai."

"Enjoyed our clean, neat corner room that opened onto a deck, within steps of grass. Loved the modern minimalist decor *esp the lamps matching the decorative pillows*. Just enough downlighting to make it cozy. Everything one might need: good AC, microwave, fridge, glasses, desk, full length mirror, toiletries, enough outlets for charging at small desk. Liked that the vanity/bath/hang up clothes area was off to the side of the room w/the king sized bed. Loved being able to make a cup of coffee and...

"Room was ok. The pillows on the beds a very flat. The free breakfast is very minimal. The vending machine needs to be updated to have a credit card reader. There is no seating area to sit and enjoy your breakfast. Just one table and two chairs right next to the front desk window. Our room was close to the front door/front desk area so there was a lot of foot traffic outside early in the morning. We only stayed for one night thankfully."

"Nice and quiet location, very quaint. It’s inside Sweet Briar’s college grounds, which on a busy day requires registration at the entry security gate, no issues there, just a quick checkpoint for college traffic safekeeping we learned. The Inn itself is well maintained for an older building. However age is not an issue, all standard hotel amenities are up to date. While this area is very convenient for the college, our destination was the town of Lynchburg, which worked well for our stay. All in...

"Non-smoking room had awful stale cigarette smoke smell. TV remote was missing batteries. Large stains on chair. Bed linens were dirty. Towels were washed but stained. No towel racks in bathroom. Floors were dirty. No hand soap at sink. Bedside table had sticky substance on it. Room location was poor with a lot of highway noise. Hotel exterior was in poor condition with no office or lounge area. No breakfast or coffee. Arrived late, so no other room was available. I only stayed a few hours and...

"Wonderful, cozy stay in a beautiful area!"

"We are very grateful for the stay and for all the kind treatment and the beautiful place."

"Beautiful place and lovely hosts who were amicable and kind the entire stay. Would definitely recommend!"

"Clean rooms, a littler small but very comfortable and prepared with all things you may need. The staff very friendly. Parking accessible. I recommend for sure. "

"It was our second time staying at Grey Pine Lodge. We had a king room on the second floor. Everything was perfect - clean room, comfortable bed, no issues with the door lock like we had on the previous stay."

"The room was clean, breakfast typical fair. However, the room was not soundproofed and we did have noisy neighbors. (Not really management's fault)"
