Charming beautifully decorated cottages. We enjoyed fire place, deck, library, and pottery workshop. There is a delicious healthy breakfast served in the cafe every morning. Staff is incredibly nice and helpful. We hiked to a nearby village. We will definitely come back.

This was an amazing place! I have been around the world and stayed at some top places. This ranks up at the top of the list for amazing. The hotel is an actual Schist village and it is well done. It far exceeded my expectations!!!

We loved our stay at magical Cedeira. We took advantage of the walking trails. Wi-fi is Understandably spotty. The bed was very comfortable. The views are breathtaking. The art in the house was fun and eclectic. We hope to come again and stay longer!

Lugar aparte. Lugar. Não é apenas uma localização, uma vez que aqui nos sentimos num outro mundo, isolados mas protegidos na talvez aldeia de xisto mais especial que visitei. Lugar para descansar a mente e recarregar baterias. Tudo o resto é secundário.

Best experience ever. The village is beautiful and every house was very clean and comfortable. It located a little off road but it worth the drive. We won't forget our stay. I hope someday we go back there.

Most tranquil location I have ever stayed.

This has to be one of the most tranquil locations I have ever stayed. The only sounds are those of nature and the mountain stream. And the views are breathtaking. Very relaxing. The staff are very welcoming and each lodge has a most informative multi lingual brochure featuring nature walks and local restaurants for those who dont wish to make use of the well appointed facilities. I will most definitely be recommending Cerdeira to friends, family, and colleagues for a fabulous get-away-from-it-all break.

Best part of Portugal

This hotel is a must for those that love nature, art, and history. The setting is perfect to relax, hike, and explore the local villages. Be sure to grab some groceries on your way. The houses come with olive oil, salt, pepper, and all the basic cooking tools (pots, pans, cutting board, utensils, oven, microwave, stove).
