Gorgeous Victorian Mansion
Super nice and friendly owner, Pat, and her two dogs were so welcoming. Beautiful home , clean and comfortable with lots of personal touches. Delish breakfast and enjoyable conversation with other guests. When we are headed back to Louisville, I’ll check with Pat first. 10/10

Excellent Stay
Great stay. Beautiful B&B for Louder than Life. Short ride to the venue. Room was clean and very well decorated. The owner is very nice and accommodating. Breakfast with a fountain view. Highly recommended!

Charming!
Perfect! Charming Bed and Breakfast. The home is beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable. Pat was very helpful and hospitable. The breakfasts were delicious!! We'll come back and highly recommend Inn at St. James Court.

Awesome B&B
We had a wonderful overnight stay and plan to go back soon. The house is absolutely beautiful, our hostess Pat was friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Also a wonderful cook. The neighborhood was amazing, blocks of Victorian homes, and we loved our first real visit to Louisville. We can’t wait to go back!

An Owner's Labor Of Love and Hospitality
Pat, the owner is very attentive and sociable. The Inn is on a beautiful, historic square. The rooms are comfortable, and well-appointed, and she served a fresh, hearty, delicious breakfast. I heartily recommend this inn for anyone wanting a relaxing, elegant stay in Louisville. It was perfect for my husband and me, but it would not be suitable for business travelers requiring reliable, high-speed WiFi or for disabled travelers who would struggle with stairways.

Beautiful victorian house. The breakfast was delicious both days! Pat was a wonderful host - friendly and welcoming. The location was excellent for seeing Old Louisville and eating at a top rated restaurant 610 Magnolia which was in walking distance. There are also shows and tours at the central park, also only a couple blocks away.

B&B stay
Beautiful location and convenient, we Ubered everywhere. Amazingly clean and well decorated room, dedicated and caring hostess plus a delicious breakfast each morning. What more could you ask for? Staying here was a delight.

This is the must-stay place for a trip to Louisville. Beautiful home, well appointed in every way and the owner is knowledgeable about the area, gracious and an excellent cook. The breakfast every morning was delicious and well balanced. The area is great for walking and taking in old Louisville and is convenient to many attractions.

This inn is remarkable. Beautifully decorated in a wonderful street in old Louisville. The breakfast served is outstanding. The innkeeper is friendly and informative. The inn is located very near several local attractions and some good restaurants.

I absolutely loved staying here
the Inn was in the most beautiful and desirable neighborhood all huge tree lined streets a beautiful place to stay. The breakfast was excellent the hostess was very considerate. You could even walk to Churchill Downs but it's about a mile and a half on a busy street so I drove. There was some Airline noise but not enough to disrupt the serenity of the home I highly recommend the Inn at St James. The owner does have dogs that are very friendly. there is off-street parking which is a real plus. It's less than a block to beautiful Park where they offer guided walking tours which I highly recommend there is a charge of $25 to do that but the history in this area is beautiful and worth knowing. Call way in advance because it is a prime location if want to visit Churchill Downs and it's about an hour and a half drive to go to the Creation Museum and Noah's Ark which are also worth visiting.

Thanks for such a nice review! The airline noise cited was UPS. My inn is in the UPS flight path, so I always try to prepare my guests for these late night/early morning flyovers, plus each room has a white noise machine to help disguise the sound of planes. Nearly every guest has told me they rarely notice any flight after the first one. I hope the beauty of St James Ct will more than make up for what I call the sound of commerce.

Excellent Bed and Breakfast. Absolutely beautiful, exceptionally clean and private. The owner Pat was personable, kind and friendly. Her trust and commitment to "doing the best for you" was obvious. Breakfast was outstanding and just sitting with casual conversation, it as clear that she cared about you. My daughter and I were there for a mother daughter weekend. I'd go back there in a heartbeat. Thank you so much for recommending Inn at St James Court.

Unique stay in Historic Louisville
This is a very unique property in Historic Louisville on one of the very best streets. The owner was very kind and the service was excellent. We would definitely stay here again when returning to Louisville.

Valet parking was about +20 minutes behind. Restaurant was 20 minutes behind as well. Very busy.

We enjoyed our stay. Location was beautiful! Little disappointed the innkeeper was not there when we arrived for our 3pm check-in. It was quite odd.

superior bed & breakfast in a gilded-age mansion in old Louisville. comfortable, hospitable, gracious owner/hostess. ten minute drive to riverfront/downtown, ten minute drive to the "happening" strip of bardstown road in the highlands. a true gem fo a weekend away, required neighborhood for 19C architecture groupies' bucketlist.
