"Spotless room, fantastic staff"

"The setting is beautiful and the staff amazing. We took our 2 Spaniels with us and stayed in a dog friendly suite. Room was huge and surprisingly warm considering it was a converted Castle. Breakfast in the morning was decent and you are within 25 mins of York. All in all a great trip and we will 100% stay here again. "

Just a few minor points to note & could be improved - bedroom window could not be opened to let in fresh air & badly needed dusting. Not enough electrical sockets & could have been better positioned close to mirror for make up, hair etc. Other than that, it was a beautiful atmospheric and classy hotel and full of character. "

The temperature management was smooth too as it was cold outside, I really appreciate to be able to turn the heat up. Absolutely Beautiful hotel! I would definitely book my stay here again when visiting Leeds. I recommend it highly - and next time I would definitiely need to try their restaurant :)"

"Clean and tidy rooms, very spacious with great pillows and a very comfortable bed. The large smart TV was an added welcome bonus. Our rom location meant we could hear loud noise coming from outside the building, but you could hardly hear it if the windows were shut. Staff seemed friendly and were able to accommodate our early check in. 8/10"
