It was workable because it was such an intimate ceremony with a focus on simply the Bride and groom in lush beautiful surroundings. I think we're on to the elopement low-stress, do it your way, be happy trend. Getting married shouldn't cost a fortune. Looking forward to your first anniversary we'll make it special - guaranteed. This review was surprising. While our track record often boasts a 10 out of 10, the recent reviewer's criticism was a listed feature of the booked room, on a 1-night stay which coincided with the largest K-POP concert on the West Coast on that particular night at the Rose Bowl which also incurred a surge pricing component, a premium justified by our prime location within walking distance of the Rose Bowl, also complemented by our free resident parking, typically a 60 value. This booker who did not know about the concert, was in the wrong place at the wrong time. The customer herself was a no-show. More significantly, the person writing the review has no idea why the property is rated so highly because they did not stay at the property and substituted a proxy on arrival ( this is against our stated policies but we didn’t refuse them as there were no other hotels in the area due to the concert vacancy issues.) So if as the reviewer you don’t first-hand experience the property and try to guess why we’re so highly rated, but look to take such an unbalanced criticism against a noted property feature that you booked, the 4 out of 10 score is more reflective of the booker than the guest experience. Our photos and descriptions accurately reflect the surroundings, and if you book a particular room with a Jack and Jill-style bathroom, that’s what you’ll get - there’s never a surprise. There may not always be occupancy on the other room but in this case, on this night there was. There are always additional private bathrooms available that are not en-suite but if you’re not staying on property how would you know? Lastly, on this particular weekend from every concertgoer who stayed we received a perfect 10 out of 10 proving you can’t please everyone, but you’ve actually got to stay on property to generate a valid criticism.
