Love the cottage cozy feel this place offers. As well as being very quiet and private. Parking is right next to the room. Manager is very friendly and very courteous.

The customer service was phenomenal. We travel a lot for our kids sports but this experience was so much different. The personal touches, kindness, and comfort of the staff at The El Royale was above and beyond. Our room was very clean and spacious. We felt safe and it was very quiet. We walked to Universal easily from the property and when we came back to retrieve our bags, Robert and Xavier were there to greet us with treats! We will stay here again when we come back!

The walk from the property to Universal was a bit long, but not inconvenient. Property was super clean and staff very friendly and helpful

Great one night stay
We’ve stayed here before and came back because we had a great experience the first time! The staff is very friendly and welcoming, the room was clean and comfortable. We were able to Uber to universal and then walk down to 7-11 for some snacks later in the evening so it was really convenient for us. We will definitely be back!

We loved staying at this charming motel! It was clean and updated, yet still had the charm of the old! The staff was so nice, they even called us on our check-in day to ask us what time we would arrive. Who needs big huge expensive hotels when you have something as charming as this place!

One Night Stay
The hotel was very convenient for our trip to Universal Studios. The beds were a little bit too hard and there was a helicopter that was flying around. There was also a lot of street noise in the room that we had. What we did love was the spaciousness of the room and the shower was awesome. The bathroom was quite roomy.

Excellent Hotel
We attend Halloween Horror Nights every year and we always choose to stay at El Royale Hotel. The rooms are clean, comfortable, quiet and safe and is walking distance to Universal Studios. The owner/manager are friendly and welcoming, and service is always 10/10! We will continue to stay at this hotel every time we travel to Universal

If I could give this property 20 stars I would! Let’s start with the staff!! I have stayed at properties around the world and the staff at this hotel exceeded that of any 5 star resort. Friendly is an understatement. The staff was beyond accommodating, the room itself was so clean. You can tell everyone on the staff loves working for this hotel just by their welcoming demeanor and warm smiles. The room itself was comfortable. The property gives a vintage style with accommodating parking right outside your room. Literally about 8 minutes from universal studios without having to get on the freeway! The area was safe and staff is at the hotel at all times. Checkout was easy and the temperature in the room was easily controlled. Lastly their bar body soap was heavenly (I wish I had taken an extra one home… it was that good). And I’m not a soap bar person. Highly recommend this place for your stay!!! We’ll definitely be back!!!!

Nice place
