"This hotel was beautiful, but the road to get there may not be worth it. It eventually turns into a dirt road and it can be dangerous. It is a very long way up the mountain. The only way to get there is a tuktuk or scooter, but that still could be dangerous. Just know that it is a long way out of Kandy."

"This place is amazing, the service was exceptional from arrival to departure, staff are very helpful and pleasant. We had Chulan who looked after us during our stay and was very attentive and helpful. This place is old charm but with modern day facilities. The food was excellent with good choices for both breakfast and dinner. I would truly recommend this bungalow if you are ever going to Kandy. "

"The Bungalow is beautifully decorated and managed by awesome team. We had such a good time here so ended up staying inside most of the time. Make sure you eat here as the menu changes and it definitely was the best food we had, especially vegetable curries. "When you arrive the door opens to a magnificent view of the pool and the river behind it. The staff was great, the food was probably our favorite during the first part of our trip. Would highly recommend this place. Make sure to visit the Temple of the Tooth and try out some local fruits!"

"Beautiful property with wonderful staff and best food we had on the island. Loved the excursions and hikes on offer. Special mention to the organic farm they have, we enjoyed a tour and all our meals sourced ingredients from right on site. Location was close enough to Kandy for sightseeing but much nicer to be away from the city and surrounding by nature and the mountain view. Especially from the spa pool!! Highly recommend"

"It is away from the hustle and bustle of the town, which was great. But there was some sort of loud music or karaoke in the evening that was unexpected and went until 11 pm. "

"Staff were excellent, as was the breakfast. Not the hotel’s fault but there are many stray dogs in the area which although friendly enough when you walk near them spend most of the night howling or barking or fighting which made sleeping very difficult. "
