My only complaint was that one woman at the front desk was rude on a few occasions to both myself and a couple friends, giving an attitude and being impatient, unhelpful. Others were fine and improved the experience in that regard"

"Great place, so glad we chose Gold Leaf. Walking distance to everything including beach, restaurants, bay, and stores. Some highlights for us - comfortable beds, pillows, AC worked great in our room, parking garage, and walkable to everything we needed. Triple bed room worked great for us. Staff was excellent and helpful, smiling and greeting us. ‘Juliette’ balcony was a bonus. We had a great stay. It’s an older hotel in town, but don’t let that deter you."

"The customer service was awesome. Makayla at the front desk was sweet and very helpful! She is a student working in the US this summer coming from Italy. I really appreciated all she did for my family and to help make our short stay wonderful. We all really liked the convenience of the beach being so close. There were two hoses to clean up in the parking area coming off the beach. The grab and go breakfast was pretty good and basic but yummy enough. The crabcake factory below our building was very accommodating to us too. We had a party of 10 and they got us in quickly and we all agreed the food and service there was great too! All in all, we stayed for about 24 hours on our way through and we really had a lovely time!"

"My daughter & I stayed the weekend to celebrate her birthday. The front desk staff was friendly. The room was clean & well maintained. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed the pool and the game room. Close proximity to the beach was nice. Didn't have to search for parking. I really like that they had carts by the front door to help bring my belongings in and out. I would definitely stay here again!"
