Unfortunately although our email confirmation for the night we wanted was correct and confirmed there was 'no room at the Inn' and there was a mistake and our room was double booked and none other available. However the staff there were brilliant and they got us a room at another of their Pubs nearby and paid for the taxi to get us there and could not do enough to help us - they gave us a discount as well so appreciated they...
"This was a last minute booking that was in a convenient location for a party nearby. I'm so glad I booked - the hotel has such a lovely feel to it, the staff were friendly, and the room (the smaller style of this available) was lovely. The bedding and pillows were so soft, the view from the window was lovely, and there were really nice touches in the room, such as a hand steamer which came in so handy for sorting out my travel wrinkled clothes! "
