"It's a great old grand hotel, with a friendly and helpful staff, decent breakfast, and comfortable lounge spaces. They just need to fix the wi-fi! It was terribly slow, the signal is weak, and I couldn't get the work done I needed to do. The phone signal in Pitlochry is sketchy at best, and with the thick stone walls I couldn't use data, so, for the price I paid I felt frustrated by the inability to make a simple video call."

Checking out was effortless and although I wasn't having breakfast, I was offered a free coffee by the same female receptionist, which I declined. My room was spotlessly clean, comfy bed, basic toilet but again so clean."

Nice relaxed feel about it, comfortable and spacious seating areas to chill and enjoy a few drinks and good food. Breakfast also very good, some things a bit cold but that’s the challenge of it being a buffet. Nevertheless very tasty, good quality and value for money. Didn’t get round to using the pool but next time …"
