Slovenia is full of remarkable places to visit. A few hours northeast of Ljubljana, the capital, lies a region of alpine valleys that will take your breath away. I took this photo shortly after sunrise on the ridge between two of those valleys. Having your own set of wheels certainly makes getting around this area a lot easier. For accommodation I'd recommend Luce, a small town a stone's throw away from the action, where there are a few options. The trails can be hard to locate and very slippery when covered with snow so tread carefully or, preferably, wait until it disappears. #slovenia #travel #hiking

I wouldn't recommend booking this hotel with double room since its falsely marketed for 3 people even though it doesnt accommodate it. They are trying to sell all the rooms as for 3 people. Wonderful family stay
Our stay wwas marvelous. All the staff were wonderful. The welcome schnapps in arrival was a fun Slovenian touch!! We used the hot tubs and bbq amd everytjing was really easy to organise. The breakfast baskets every morning wrre wonderful and we made picnic lunches from the left overs!
