"Breakfast was very good all nice and hot. Unfortunately the room still had rubbish in it from previous occupants. The shower had more water coming out the bath taps than the shower head! All staff were very helpful and friendly"

"It was a nice property overall, but our room reeked of cigarettes, now my clothes also smell of cigarettes :-( We booked a second room for the rest of the family and that was much nicer. Helpful staff, nice restaurant with a delicious breakfast. Beautiful sunset over the restaurant terrace."

"The hotel was clean, staff were very pleasant and helpful. Hotel location is convenient, but for foot passengers travelling with baggage, it's not so good. You have to walk a fair distance down a winding pathway, then push or pull your baggage up the hill for your return. When it is raining, this is very unpleasant. Not happy with this at all."

"The B&B is definitely the best in my experience. Bedroom as well as bathroom are very clean and tidy. The paper folders in bathroom is antique-wise. Also electrical equipments are convenient and cool. Coffee server and fridge are stylish. Lights are well designed. Breakfast is delicious and plenty. Graham’s homemade jams are excellent. "There were spots of blood on the bathroom floor. I would not stay during a heat wave. We ended up leaving because the room was boiling hot, and whilst there was a fan, it just wafted warm air around, you couldn't open the windows because it had a safety link on it. The receptionist was lovely but she couldn't get hold of any managers and whilst she offered us a room on the other side of the hotel, it wasn't much cooler and didn'thave the extra bed we needed. We'd had book 2 rooms for 2 couokes...

"A excellent stay prior to a flight from Bristol Airport. Restaurant was excellent with a good selection of food and drinks. The staff made you feel welcome. Car parking was great and only 15-20 minutes from the airport. Will definitely stay again."

"The hotel is very dated. Every floor board creaked and I’m glad I had an end room and no one could walk past the room. I fear it would be very noisy. There is no air con in the rooms and in 32 degree heat that makes for an uncomfortable stay. Reception did give me a fan but that was useless."

"Fantastic location!!! Weatherspoons 250 yards away lidls 50 yards away Marina 300 yards away. Free car parking. Our rooms were on second floor in direct sunlight all day. St night they were hotter than a pizza oven!!! They supplied a fan to blow the hot air around so it was then a fan assisted oven!!!! Outside cool air of the night couldn’t get in through the window that only opens a couple of inches(security catch) the corridors lovely and cool. Did contemplate moving pillows a bedding into...

"It was excellent accommodation, in a relaxing setting, a visit from the goat was free entertainment, he was so friendly. The accommodation was modern and spotless and I will definitely be staying again on my next trip. Great stay all round!"

"The pub is an old building, therefore there are things that cannot be changed, so if you are a light sleeper and cannot use ear plugs this may not be for you. It was not an issue for us. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent, we had one evening meal there, breakfast was perfect, they were very accommodating by tweaking the menu to what you prefer. Very close to the caves and gorge, easy to access other attractions."
