"mould around the bathroom tiles, bathroom window and curtain, rust on the shower head, dust on tbe bathroom mirror and an e.pyy toilet roll cardboatd core. In the main bedroom room, we found a ceiling repair painted white, a totally different colour from the rest of the room, cobwebs on the room sprinkler head, poor condition of the bed blanket throw and an extremely small television. We did not stay and returned home after the offer of an alternative room which was no different to our first reserved room."

"This was advertised as 3.75 miles from where I needed to be and after payment showed where it actually is! 3.75 miles across the water and a 4.5 hour road trip! Hotels.com declined to refund me. No doubt the hotel is lovely but the location description from hotels.com is atrocious."

"Overall we enjoyed our stay very much. The room was spacious, pretty well furnished and clean. Dinner and breakfast was not exceptional but OK. However the biggest pluses were the tranquil location overlooking Loch Feochan and the staff. From arrival to departure every member of staff we encountered was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and professional. Tom needs to be singled out for being exceptionally helpful when we discovered a tyre puncture on departure. He helped us to source and arrange for a replacement and fix. despite missing our lunch appointment, the hotel is hardly a bad place to spend an extra 90mins. Very highly recommended."

"The room was fantastic we paid for a king with a sea view, we had a really busy day and thought staying here would be great, we arrived and the pool was closed we were not told during the booking this was the case, when it came to dinner the ordering was made really difficult with staff confusing what was going on, the food we ordered was put on another table, Looks great and the food is nice but the service from some of the bar and restaurant staff is somewhat lacking Probably wouldn't stay again "

"Obviously the location sells this hotel. Very dated decor and bedroom was very cramped. Car parking is not on site. Food and drink is very expensive"
