The rooms and areas were a bit tired looking and worn, for example the towels were scraggy, there was no where to hang a towel in the bathroom, the lock on the bathroom door was dodgy, but the hotel staff in all areas from reception to the spa and the bistro were extremely friendly and professional. "I have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions over the last year and found it to be very comfortable, peaceful, scenic, with lovely staff and good food and also a conveniently close distance to the M4. Generally the accommodation is of a high standard of cleanliness and comfort. I was disappointed on my last visit however, to find that my booked suite had been 'upgraded'. "Affordable spa hotel, dated, poor food and standard level of amenities. For what you pay, you get a decent bed, breakfast, pool. It’s not the best but it does the job."
