"We spent 2 weeks in August at Maria’s. Lovely apartments with beautiful surroundings and a gorgeous view. Apartments were basic but had everything we needed. There is a hairdryer (which isn’t mentioned in the description). Check in was easy, we had a late arrival and were advised in advance of our apartment number beforehand and access instructions. Housekeeping was daily and maids were very friendly. As mentioned previously, it is a steep hill up to the apartments but we found it walkable....

"As the booking was made we had a very good instinct that this was the right property. From viewing the pictures we were not expecting the Kitchenette, we were able to eat cooked breakfasts and dinners on the balconies and made our trips easier and lighter to focus on activities. "Positive: Great communication with the host, who allowed us to check in late; very nice and helpful host. Negatives: very strong smell in the apartment, most likely coming from the bathroom; the bathtub was very filthy, not cleaned and we have not been able to use it. Outdated furniture in the kitchen, beds very average. I do not recommend this place."

"The apartments are lovely however the location as stated on the listing is not where the property is. The location is shown as within a block of the waterfront but the property is about 4 block away (the end of the town). Although it is only a short walk to the waterfront, the location as shown is misleading. Also, the fridge in our apartment (we stayed in Joy) would freeze everything, even though the temperature was on the warmest setting. We were asked to turn the fridge off and on to reset it...
