"It was a beautiful location. The cottages are well equipped. There was a bit of a musty smell. I think that could have been the carpets in the bedrooms and sitting area. Wooden floors would be more hygienic. Having the hotel so close was the effect for the leisure centre and bar! A great weekend all considered and I will be back!"

"We had a 3 night stay , breakfast was absolutely fantastic. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Because it was a mid-week break the bar was very quiet at night, not much atmosphere. Our room, 102 as a twin room was very small and outdated, all rooms in my opinion should have walk-in showers. House keeping staff were very friendly and helpful. No hassell check-in / check-out. An abundance of car parking at rear of hotel."

"Room was good but a lot of road noise could be heard. We paid full price for an upgrade to a superior room but was then asked to pay a further £30 for breakfast even though all the superior room are breakfast included on the website. We didn’t complain but just pointed it out that if we’d booked a superior room initially, we would’ve had our breakfast included in the price.
