Comfortable mattress, quiet location. Motel is old, some updating done but has strong musty odor of an old building. Thin walls, door knob lock with a real metal key was very difficult to get unlocked. Affordable price, close to river in back of building.

Unique place to stay

Overall, we really liked our stay. It has a nice vibe. It’s right on a river and we enjoyed sitting on a swing bench watching the water. There’s a fire pit which we didn’t take advantage of. No free breakfast. The shower head was possibly the lowest in history so if you’re tall like me, showering was difficult. The staff was A+ going out of their way to accommodate the guests in a unlucky situation (power outage which meant we couldn’t use the heat on a very cold night and they were out bringing us extra blankets and checking on all the guests).

First impressions are deceiving. Mid century motel but well taken care of. Very clean. Room was quiet and comfortable. Plently of hot water. Simple economy but I was very comfortable. Bed was good. No frills but i dlepted very wery. Mom and Pop owned and the owners were very friendly.

The owners were very kind and always available. The cabin was very clean, very accommodating. There is a small refrigerator and a Keurig coffee maker and coffee supplies. On property there is an ice machine and microwave that are both accessible. The pool definitely felt heated and was always clean. Definitely going back next year.
