"When we arrived just after 2pm it was like stepping onto the Marie Celeste. We finally found a few customers who told us that only member of staff doing front of house was getting ice cream for their daughter. When she appeared we asked about food but was told that the kitchen closed at 2 and that we would need to go out if we were hungry. "The hotel was very clean. Staff couldn’t be more helpful. Never stayed at a Days Inn before but would certainly stay with them again. Although the hotel was on the m1 we didn’t hear any traffic noise. There was no restaurant at the hotel but services was next door"

"The room was fine, not exceptional, for me, as I was only staying for 6 nights. I hadn't booked breakfast as it was only offered on a Sunday, but there is a "Sandwich Stop" attached to the hotel in the car park. Parking was adequate, but trying to exit onto the busy main road was a nightmare, as the hedges were so overgrown and hadn't been trimmed, so it was impossible to see traffic approaching from both directions. "The only issue we had was there was no one to check us in, The contact numbers we had no one answered. We actually felt like we were trespassing. After driving around for an hour someone finally returned our call & messages and arranged to meet us. We had almost given up & were going to go home. Having said that we ended up having a really enjoyable stay :)"

"Rooms were good size. Bed was large and comfy. Pillows were comfy. Bathroom was a good size. All very clean. The floors in the room are laminate and could do with a good hoover and mop. Swimming pool was a good size. Sauna and steam rooms were working and usable. Gym was small but had everything needed. £15 parking for 24hr is a let down. If your a staying guest parking should be included. Towels are supplied for use at the pool and gym so you don't have to take them from the room."

"Charming pub with rooms in the courtyard. Each one had parking outside. Very spacious room with comfortable bed, smart tv and tea & coffee making facilities. Good size en suite with great shower. Towels provided along with a hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Breakfast was made to order along with continental options. Staff friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again. "

"Michael at reception was so helpful and gave me all the information I needed with regards to my room and food/drink. My room was clean, very peaceful and had a good sized desk and office chair so I was able to work during my stay. Food was nice and generous portions. The air con was fantastic in this hot weather. Overall an excellent hotel for business. I will be back!"

"Fabulous stay. Lovely, spacious, spotless twin room with very clean, modern en suite. Everywhere is extremely clean and very well maintained. Plenty of parking and a fantastic outside area for sunny days. Staff very friendly and helpful. Generous meal portions and absolutely delicious! We joined in the quiz night and were even greeted warmly (and helped!) by the locals. We will definitely be staying again!"
