The driveway was steep so bare that in mind as the walk up to the hotel could be taxing for an older person. We had booked a luxury room with a panoramic view of the lake, perfect with one exception, there was a tea and coffee machine, but if you wanted to use them you had to pay extra, for what we paid for this room, it was a little cheeky. We ate in the hotel for the first three nights but...

"The hotel is all about the location and the surroundings. If that’s what you’re in the area for (sightseeing, short stop off etc) then the hotel is fine and does exactly what it needs to. As a hotel in isolation, it’s a little tired, a touch antiquated (some might say Italy of old and like this feature) and underwhelming considering the absurdity of the beauty it looks out on to. Well worth paying for a room with balcony and lake view though. Amri was very helpful staff member, great guy, other...
