"I stayed at this hotel 4 nights for a business trip. The entire stay was disappointing. I was told the room could only be cleaned every three days, but that this was not guaranteed because they were having trouble with housekeeping. The room was not cleaned at all during my stay. The hallways and stairways were unvacuumed and most rooms had bags of garbage piled outside the doors. My sink had no drain cover, just an open hole with a slow drain. The toilet was also a slow drain. Two mornings I did not have hot water. My room key failed to work and had to be re-set, which is understandable, but it just added to my frustration. The internet went out one evening, and that included the television. There were no glasses or cups in the room, and no ice bucket. The police were there one evening, escorting someone out of the hotel. Perhaps this was a positive sign, but it added to the sense of gloom and disaster that permeated this hotel environment. The staff were not unkind, but they seemed frustrated and overwhelmed. I am glad I didn't spend too much time in the room, and even gladder when it was time to check out and come home."
