The Promenade was great. We had never been there before. Clean, elegant, conveniently located, nice and efficient staff, great food at the restaurant, great views, and great pianos. Highly recommended for tourists in Liepaja.

The building itself is very interesting and spacious . It has a very calm and unrushed feel to it. We love the waterside location. It is always our first choice of hotel when we visit family in Liepaja.

Would come back again

Hotel lobby and restaurant were awesome, really beautiful but room was three/four Star standard. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were good— there’s sparkling wine at breakfast :) We had our car with us, so free parking and electric car charger (not free) were positive surprise. I also had a lovely massage and access to saunas, really relaxing experience :)

Great hotel, only downside is that the gym was closed at the time of the stay. Especially when the room rate described was “including morning gym”. Other than that it was a very nice and pleasant stay 🙂

The hotel was in a great location on the canal and along the path of the city walking tour. The hotel was decorated with hundreds of outstanding paintings-it was like a very good art gallery. Breakfast was elegant and complete. We were disappointed with our check in experience. The receptionist made us wait for over five minutes while she was on a hotel business (NOT guest related) call. We then needed to really push her to get the room which we had requested. There were also loud music parties on Friday and Saturday going till 10 and 11 pm which was very loud in the room.

The towels smelled like old cigarettes. Mostly likely someone in the laundry was smoking a lot when folding these or has been smoking in that room. The gym was more or less non-existing. Shouldn't be listed as a gym.

Great interior design of the hotel and tasteful food. Be aware though that you can access internet only when you are in your room and not in public areas as a router is for your room only through the TV set. The funny thing is if you switch your TV off, the internet stops as well, so you need your TV on all the time. We had a dinner at their restaurant. It seems very popular as it was full. But there were only two waitresses for about 100 people. We waited for an hour to just make an order… poor waitresses worked hard, but it was clear that more staff were needed
