"Clean room staff very helpful,Bar is very nice serve and friendly in different room Breakfast is all there very nice. But when stayed in No 1 (McNeil) toilet you can get WiFi but you out of toilet you can’t have it! And when outside doorway about 8pm and early morning can’t see get a light on see where I am going!"

"Really nice room. Cosy bar and restaurant. The Four out of five for the staff because they sat around us chatting whilst we were having breakfast. It felt a little like we were in the way of their conversation. Dined here on two evenings and one breakfast. Very good meals apart from a massively overpriced “cauliflower steak” - ordered out of curiosity but I should have asked first. It was just a roasted head of cauliflower… and not that big a one, either, but the price didn’t reflect...

Olivia was great, she was welcoming, friendly, and went out of her way to make us feel accommodated, the zip wire, archery and axe throwing activities were great fun for our children. "Excellent staff. We were delayed by bad weather and arrived late, just as the chef told reception that he’d finished service. He immediately asked what we’d like to eat and prepared us a great dinner. The general manager and breakfast waitress were also very helpful and friendly. "

"Just spent the evening with Edward and his family at this historic property. We had a fabulous experience throughout our stay. The room was large, clean with fabulous views. The bathroom was sumptuous with a wonderful curved bath and shower. Edward our host could not do enough for us. This is his family home, and we enjoyed a tour of the house and to hear about its history. My partner and I would highly recommend you stay. "

"Wagon was in a lovely location on a farm and owner was very nice, once I managed to find the farm , but checking in time or instructions would have been helpful . Bed was comfortable and I did appreciate the tea, sugar and milk provided , but the room itself was quite cold -with one tiny inadequate heater . Bathroom was also very cold and smelled very damp and unfortunately the toilet seat was loose and shooting off to one side. "
