Great for a quick stopover

Couldn’t fault the hotel for anything. They were prompt even though I had an after hours check in. Quick to reply to email. Didn’t have breakfast this time but maybe next. I really liked the room too

Lovely hotel perfect location near train station, staff can’t do enough for you, unfortunately we didn’t get much sleep as could hear next door tv but hotel manager gave us drinks crisps and chocolate to apologise and free upgrade next time we stay

A very good town centre hotel in a largely pedestrianised area. The staff were all polite, spoke good English and helpful. A nice terrace for good weather. The beef restaurant below was great. There was also an all you can eat Chinese I've nearby.

Mediocre

Located close to the station in a relatively bad neighborhood. The room was very clean. The walls are paper thin I hope your neighbors don't wake up too early because their shower will absolutely wake you up. The breakfast was nice but some of the plates were already empty even though breakfast only started 30 minutes ago. A table was hard to get because of the amount of tables that still needed to be cleaned, looked severely understaffed to me. The window isolation was very poor making noises outside very apparent. The room does not have a fridge or an airconditioning system. No staff available after 23:00 so I hope you don't have any issues after this time. The furniture was repainted very poorly. Don't understand how this got a 4 star rating and the price does not match the quality at all.

The property we’re staying in was comfortable, safe & convenient to the shop & easy to get transport. The room was clean & very friendly staff. The only problem was a bit too far from Amsterdam city. Well recommended!

Not a safe place

The sink was broken in the bathroom and when I asked why they can’t change my room the next day I came back from long day out I saw they broke one of my art pieces that I bought for my son I don’t recommend to stay here it’s not safe

This is my 5/6th stay but by far the worst. The rooms are tired, very warm…the fan in the room very basic and noisy. Really horrible pillows, shower/bath small and old fashioned. Left balcony door open and very noisy outside…then very early market set up…but that’s fine as it’s a local market Afraid I’ll be trying somewhere else next time.

I only use this hotel (and have done for years) due to its proximity to our office in Lelystad. The hotel is worn and dated, not invested in, and clearly is understaffed resulting in poor service. apparently due for refit next year, which hopefully will make it better value for money. at present is only location that speaks for using it compared to the new van der valk who charge the same price but much better facility

To be honest, there were a lot of ups and downs for a one night stay, but we walked away happy. Smooth check in but with a miscommunication about our breakfast in bed that we had specially ordered. The requested baby crib was already in the room but there were also earplugs so you know what that means. The eco friendly wash was out by the sink but there was plenty in the shower. When we went down to clarify the breakfast issue, the very friendly staff promised it would be delivered at 8am. Slept a bit rocky and definitely needed the earplugs because there was a lot of noise from the surrounding bars and restaurants. In the morning 8am came and went with no food in sight. At 8.30 called down and they had no idea what we were talking about. They called back a few minutes later and said breakfast was on it's way. 9am came and went with no knock at our door. Toddler was now starving and crying so i called down again (with said screaming toddler on my arm). 5 minutes later...The Most Beautiful Breakfast I Have Ever Seen was rolled into our room. I felt like Juila Roberts in Pretty Woman. It was amazing. No idea if this was the normal fare or if it was to make up for the mishap, but who cares. We ate like royalty. And to boot they apologized by giving us 20 euros as recompense. Overall it was a cute little hotel in a central location, perfect for a quick trip to see Lelystad.

Ontvangst en personeel uitstekend. Kamer is oud. Veel beschadigingen van meubel en muur. Niet netjes afgewerkt. Het was warm. Geen airco. Frans balkondeur kan open. Echter in de avond is het druk op het plein. Veel geluid van mensen beneden op het plein (vrijdagavond)

Wir haben hier eine Nacht mit Frühstück gebucht. Insgesamt ein tolles Hotel, sehr freundlicher Service, tolle Zimmer. Sogar mit Kaffeemaschine und Willkommens Kaffee, Tee und Wasser. Lediglich das Bad bedarf einer Renovierung. Ansonsten tolles Hotel! Frühstück ist empfehlenswert und reichhaltig!

Bar zonder barman/-vrouw.

Een zeer gastvrij hotel met goed ontbijt. Helaas was er rond negen uur geen personeel in dr bar. Op de bel op de bar werd niet gereageerd.
